Hello there! I'm Eric. IMDB calls me E.M. McCoy. Call me whatever you like. Nice to meet you.
I began my career working as an assistant to Producer Barry Rosen at Lionsgate Films. I worked my way up to head of development and eventually was an associate producer on a few feature films and a few seasons of Inside Israeli Basketball on Fox Sports. I wrote a few scripts that sold to studios in my mid 20s. 2 scripts I sold were produced into feature films. My fun fact is that Burt Reynolds starred in a movie that I wrote when I was 25.
Later I found myself working as a line producer for commercial production companies in Los Angeles and Atlanta, then I transitioned to working as a full-time agency producer, senior producer, freelance agency producer, and senior creative producer for creative agencies.
Since 2020, I have been an executive producer and director at DynamitePictureCo.com and freelance producer for various agencies including Ogivly, W+K and in-house creative teams like GoTo Foods and Yum Brands.
Those are the highlights; what all of that doesn't tell you is that I am a humble, kind, fair and deeply curious person. I live in the city with a brilliant wife and a feisty lady Schnauzer. I play in semi-professional Backgammon and GO tournaments. My other obsessions include: medieval and early-modern French history, Japanese food, baseball, Kathleen Kennedy, Will Durant, Andrei Tarkovsky, 2 Chains, Diego Velázquez, Bedřich Smetana, Ridley Scott, applied industrial chemistry, and compliments to you if you are still reading this. We should probably be friends.
I take my work seriously, but I don't take myself too seriously at all.
Life is short, let's make something iconic together?
